These are what I have received as of this evening. Thank you to all who =
have
given sites, locations and ideas.=20
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3DNot sure how large in diameter she wants =
the bookworm, but saw a
really cute one made out of dryer vent hose - about a foot in diameter,
available from hardware stores - comes in white and can be =
spray-painted.
Also makes really cute pumpkins when stapled in a circle and painted =
orange.
Think they used a large Styrofoam ball for the head of the bookworm and =
real
eyeglasses. Can be hung with strings at different levels or draped over
books, etc.

There is other book fabric out there - just a matter of being in the =
store
that carries it. Think it tends to come and go over the years. Have =
found
several kinds at Wal-Mart at different times.

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3DThere is a fabric that I have seen in the =
Highsmith catalog that has
books on a bookcase. It been used in chairs and on ties. Maybe that can =
give
you a lead

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3DHave you tried a quilting store or some of =
the quilting websites?
They tend to have lots of printed fabrics in bright colors, many with
themes. My principal is a quilter and she gave me some awesome Harry =
Potter
fabric she found at a quilt show.

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3Dshredded paper what =
else would a bookworm eat? only
kidding, I could not resist. LOVE THIS ONE FOR STUFFING!

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3DI have searched for book fabric for about a
year and haven't found any. I would love to have your pattern for the
bookworm. I have bookworms decorating my library and am always looking =
for
more. =20
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3DCheck =
JoAnn Fabrics. They sometimes have fabric that
is book related.=20

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=
=3D=3DI made a bookworm at my school out of paper -
each circles was a child's book review - I made the head and put it on =
the
wall. Then students filled in the circles with their name, book title,
author and a sentence or two rating the book. All the circles were put =
up
as students completed a book. We tried to get our bookworm to grow =
outside
the library and down the hall - all around the school.

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=
=3DI'm also a quilter, and I've located quilting
fabric on a specific theme or idea with a simple google search. Try =
"Fabric
with books" as you search terms. Here's one such website with fabric for
sale.=20

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3DIf you =
have access to an inkjet printer you could get
the iron transfer film and find pictures of books or clipart, then iron =
them
on to bright colored fabrics or used bright colors on the books and use
muslin. Wal-Mart in our area has a selection of school related fabric at
this time as well

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D

HYPERLINK "http://www.fabshophop.com/"http://www.fabshophop.com/ This =
site
offers a contest for visiting 160+ fabric shops, I believe it also has a
search feature for materials with different designs.

Okay, this proves that I don't have a life (I have found approximately =
100
of the bunny rabbits in the shop, but this keeps me off the streets, =
lol)

Thanks again
