Dear Marian,=20 I would add to be successful as a secondary librarian, you need to be = patient, have a sense of humor, and not take things personally. If you = enjoy it, you might want to start reading YA fiction. I like to be able = to recommend books that I have read personally to the kids, but as Allan = said, the personal qualities are much more important than the skills. = You cetainly can pick those as you go along.
