Dear LM_Netters, It seems I have seen this question posted some time before but I can't find anything in the archives that's current enough so I'm appealing for help. This is my first year as a media specialist. I'm working with a collection that has been sorely neglected for several years (and probably never weeded). My first goal is to update my reference collection. The only things in my reference collection that are current are the encyclopedias and the "World Almanac and Book of Facts". Please send me your recommendations for the absolute basics that you feel should be included in a MS/HS reference collection. General areas to cover is fine and if you have specific titles of books that you find helpful that you would recommend, that would be great too. I will post a hit if that's of interest to anyone.
