Target: upper elem. after school book club

Hi,
   I have been asked to coordinate/develop an after school book club for
grades 3-5.  This would be a 10 week session which would meet once a week
for an hour.  We have discussed reading/ discussing books and then ending
with a "mini Battle with the other building."    Does any other school do
this?  Any ideas?
