Greetings LM-Netters, I am a newbie in a 6-8 school. After completeing all the orientations to the LMC with my 6th and 7th graders, I need to start this coming week with library skills lessons for the 6th graders. My next lesson will be how to use the OPAC (Follett) in the LMC and then for a 2nd lesson I would like to review the OPAC lesson from the LMC and have them apply the information learned by completing a scavenger hunt type game in the comp lab. Any fresh, fun ideas for this type of initial teaching the OPAC lesson? I really like to play games with the kids and hand out library raffle tickets for correct answers. I generally create powerpoints for my lessons, but I'm trying to come up with something new and I figured I'd check with the BEST sources. Please let me know if you have any ideas........I'll post a HIT if anyone likes. Thanks.
