Creating a Writing Club for High School Students

Hello,

I drafted a library survey last year asking my high school students what programs 
they would like to see offered for the following school year.  One of the most 
popular responses was a Writing/Poetry Club.

I am having trouble coming up with ideas on how to start and manage a club like 
this.  Has anyone ever set up a club such as this and run it out of their library?  
If so, please forward any information to me on how this can be done.  I wrote a 
memo to all the English teachers in my school asking for their assistance as well 
since I consider then "experts in the field" on this particular topic.  I would 
like to run the club with their help.
