I am the librarian at a middle school (grades 6-8) in the suburbs of = Kansas City. A parent is challenging the book Feeling Sorry for Celia. = We have a book review process in order and we are following that. I = pulled several reviews on the book from Amazon.com and bn.com, and I know = that it was on the 2002 BBYA list from ALA. I guess more than anything, I'm looking for words of wisdom from those who = have gone through this before - this is my first challenge. Any thoughts = or words of wisdom?
