Booker T. Washington High School is celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year, and I am heading up an oral history project in remembrance of this special year. My photography/videography club students have already written a plan in which they will interview staff members, students, the principal and other key people over the next 3 months. Many of our staff/teachers have been at the school over 30 years. What are some clever ways to set up an interview? I want the overtone to be more like a "chat" than an interview (less formal, in other words) What kinds of questions could students ask, besides the obvious (i.e., ".....How does it feel to be celebrating the 80th anniversary?"
