[LM_NET] TECH Flash movies...where do they go?

First, I am using Firefox on a Windows XP machine......
Do flash movies download somewhere onto your computer?  Or do you just
watch them via the browser, and then they vanish back into the ethers of
the Internet?
If flash movies do download, where the do they hide on the computer?
And what about movies viewed with either Real or Windows Media Player?
Where do they ordinarily lurk after being viewed?  Or do they, too,
disappear from the computer?
