Gordon:

first, congrats on using Firefox.

It can be either...some will actually download if the site is set up that
way (most are not). If it does download, Firefox will say so in a dialog
box, and tell you where it is being saved to (the location you specified
when you set up Firefox the first time you installed it). I have any such
downloads go to a file called My Download Files. You can alter this
location in Firefox by going to Tools/Options/downloads and changing the
location.

Most sites will stream the flash file to your 'puter. It isn't actually
being saved on your 'puter. In essence, you are watching on their server
(so to speak). It IS being loaded into a buffer in your system, but once
you leave the site, the file leaves as well.

Hope this helps.
Mark
