What a coincidence. I just finished this book (The Kite Runner) yesterday and felt the same way. I really like books that teach and also nourish the spirit. My question would be, what other books have people read recently that do these two things? In these times when many people are walking around all the time with a vague sense of dread, what are some books, either fiction or biography, that both teach and have a redemptive or inspiring (not necessarily religious) message? Thanks in advance for responses.--Mary Ann P.S. I just thought of one more, that I also just finished: Riding the Bus With My Sister. Any other ideas???
