[LM_NET] off topic - sending a child to college

I missed the original posting for this.  The responses
have been great.  I would add one thing I don't see
mentioned. (I have 3 in or graduated from college.)
Get the meningitis vaccine.  If your insurance doesn't
cover it, get it at your county health department or
wherever you can.  Too many young people have died or
been permanently disabled because of this disease.
