Hi all, After reading through archives and not finding quite what I was looking for, I bow to your cumulative wisdom in helping me solve a cataloging dilemma: For the Follett-using, time-crunched librarian with at least 350 titles that have been acquired without accompanying MARC records, would you prefer using: --Follett's Alliance Plus (looks nice but a tad pricey for a year's subscription) or --Marcive (I am very familiar with Marcive after having used it in conjunction with Winnebago/Spectrum software-easy and inexpensive but sometimes poorly detailed records) or --a Z39.50 application like BookWhere or Follett's own z39.5 software? (never actually used a z39.50 connection-would I need to purchase a server for it? Is "BookWhere" really good?) Please Help! Many, many thanks, Jennifer England Librarian Heritage Hall School Oklahoma City, OK ___________________ ___________________ ___________________ -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
