Hello,

Sorry I did not identify myself in my first message. I also use the
TechTeach@systematic.net email

I am a media specialist at a Private school in Miami Florida.

My husband is being offered a job in Phoenix. I am weary about moving
their.

I do not know anything about the school system.

I am getting my Masters right now online through Nova Southeaster,
University, in Media Education. I like working at the elementary level. I
teach computers and library skills. I also have a BS in Computer Science. I
am not certified as an elementary school teacher but I am working towards
all that now.

I have two daughters a 4th grader and a 6th grader.

Any input or advice about this move, school districts to look into for my
girls and how about getting a job or certification there?

I am not sure if the desert is a place for me, nor how hard it will be to
get a job their. I also am concerned about the schools. I have my girls in
private because of the over crowding in Miami and the school system is
lacking many things.

I know this is off some of the topics we have been discussing. But I have
found sometimes reaching out and finding someone who is experienced and
professional can help a fellow human being.

Thank you,

Maria Fernandez
