-a cool bit of information on the sweaters: in the old days these sweaters  
were used by fishermen from the Aran islands off the coast of Ireland. The wool 
 was coated in wax to make it water resistant and the sweaters were  knit in 
different patterns by different families. The pattern could be used if  
necessary to aid in identifying drowned fishermen.
