Dear Group,

Students are researching aspects of the Colonial period. We are trying to
convert 5,000 pounds Sterling in 1773, for example, to a value in US $
today. The Inflation converters I have found work well, but only in
dollars. Does anyone know of a way to convert pre-revolutionary Pounds
Sterling to a present US $ value?

As usual, TIA,

Best regards,
