[LM_NET] TARGET: Race, Culture, Diversity Book Display

Greetings to all from Halifax, Nova Scotia...

A principal at one of the 5 schools I support has asked me to create a "Race,
Culture, Diversity" book display for the school library (primary to grade 6).

Any ideas on books appropriate for this type of school/display?  Canadian titles
are particularly welcome (not to sound exclusive!).

I'm new to the school library world, so any recommendations are most welcome.  I
will most happily post hits.
