My fourth and fifth grade fixed-scheduled classes are outrageous. Whether I'm reading great stories or working on curriculum projects, there are no consequences that I can offer that will keep them under control. I'm talking about rudeness to each other, inappropriate talking, and even running and playing when they should be selecting and checking out books. I don't have any problems with the lower grades. How do you handle inappropriate behavior in the library?
