LM_Netters, Some of our students are having an especially stressful year. That, combined with randomness, and the extra stress of moving to a temporary campus for the year, are making them hard on one another as a group (an entire grade level). There is a certain point where that sort of behavior acquires enough momentum that it's extraordinarily difficult to stop. The following is an unanswered post from the Advanced Book Exchange (ABE) Book Sleuth, which caught my eye because of our year. Rather than include the whole description, here's the ABE page (request 8999.1) Class exercise "I love you/I hate you": http://forums.abebooks.com/n/mb/message.asp? webtag=abesleuthcom&msg=8999.1&ctx=0 If you know the book, please post an answer, and let me know. Also, if you have ideas to contribute re: stopping the snowball effect before it goes any further, please email me off list. Thank you. - Amy Goldsmith Daves Avenue School Los Gatos, CA 95030 amy@alumni.princeton.edu -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
