I'm sharing the Polar Express with my kids this week. I've pulled out some of his other books and we are talking about the Caldecott Award. He won a silver medal for The Garden of Abdul Gasazi, and gold medal for both Jumanji and Polar Express. I want to know if Chris Van Allsburg is the only person to have won twice. Yes, there is a list on the ALA website, but it's by years.
