[LM_NET] Suggestions for computer software

We have some money to spend on computer software.  We don't know how
much money and we don't know what is out there - so we are fumbling
around in the dark without a flashlight. Can anyone help?

The English teachers would like software on the following topics:

Grammar and Language
Writing
Vocabulary
Literature
Research

The grade level is 9-12.  If you have any ideas of computer software
that has worked well for your English Departments, please let me know.
