I just came from the educators-only preview this morning.   The movie is
very true to the book - I enjoyed it immensely.    And there were other
adults crying besides me!

I must admit I never pictured Gloria Dump as African-American - but Cicely
Tyson does a good job in portraying the character.  Overall, I was a little
disappointed that the characters of Gloria, Otis, and Miss Franny were not
as developed as they could have been -  but the movie still was successful
at capturing the spirit of the book.

Afterwards, there was an opportunity to sign up for group sales - and many
were signing up to bring church youth groups.
