[LM_NET] TARGET: ideas for novels for Jr & Sr. level classes

HI,  I have an English teacher looking to update the list of novels she uses with 
Jr & Sr level Novel Class. She would like to know what others may be using.  She is 
looking for something new, different and perhaps a little more contemporary to use 
as class novels.
 
She has a recommended reading list that students can choose from but is currently 
using as class novels the following:
 
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Of Mice and Men
Scarlet Letter
The Chosen
Black Boy
Raisin in the Sun
The Wave
