This morning my principal came in and asked me if it would be possible for our 8th grade students to read books onto cassette tapes as part of their community service. She thought this would help some of the younger students in school to have a tape to listen to while they followed along in the book. I told her that I thought it was a violation of copyright to have the students do that, but she thinks that if we don't let the tapes leave the school that it would be fine. Please advise.
