Sent this to Kay, but what the heck - the list might as well read it too.  I
am sure I am already on Scholastic's "Naughtiest People's" list because of
my outspokenness.

Of course you will - and meanwhile Scholastic laughs all the way to the bank
as it continually markets products with use-by dates firmly embedded in
them!  Oh, for teachers who can teach with confidence without these
expensive commercial products and more especially, administrators who would
let them!  Wouldn't the funds for our libraries be boosted then!

Or am I just TOO cynical.
