Dear LM_NET,
I would like to ask those of you that have created sites for middle school
media centers if you have a couple of sites that you would recommend for the
students you serve and their parents. Most of what I have been able to find
is either YA (which may contain things that could be considered too "mature"
for middle school students) or too elementary. Has anyone run across anything
that is just perfect for middle school? Sites can cover any topic: general
info, specific subjects, extracurricular activities, whatever. I am also
interested in sites for the parents of middle school students. Middle school
can be a particularly turbulent time for parent-child relationships. Anything
that could be provided to help these parents help their children develop in a
healthy way (both physically and mentally) would be appreciated. I will be
happy to post a hit.
Thanks.
