Hit Part I

Thank you everyone who contributed references on Lewis and Clark. The
group that is creating a website for our district has not yet sifted
through all materials, but we did visit many of the websites and found the
first 4 to be the best overall sites. Many other sites have great
sections on specific topics, but we are still compiling those and looking
at the books, movies, etc.

Some of the sites on the list have an Indiana bent-sometimes we think we
were overlooked because they stress the official beginning of the trip as
Missouri, but it was in Indiana/Kentucky that Lewis and Clark met up, and
Clark was from Indiana.

For books, I would definitely recommend Captain's Dog by Roland Smith.
Kids love it!
