I was frustrated with Scholastic and started searching in the area. I found
there are other companies and book stores willing to work with you and sponsor
book fairs. I have been using Adventureland. With Scholastic I found the books
were out of my kids price range and I could not get things I requested.
Adventureland has books priced in my kids ranges--plus they offer discount books.
With Scholastic I would make around $500 to $600 profit. With Adventureland I
make $1100 to $1200 profit. The kids look forward to the fair. The service with
Adventureland is fantastic. They deliver and help set up the fair and are
very helpful.
My advice is check your area. There are other companies besides Scholastic.
