Just a note....

I had heard in one of the news reports that the eerie thing that was noticed
by some of the reporters was that there were NO dead animals...just
people...found after the tsunami last weekend.

Comments were made that the "animals apparently left earlier" without being
noticed...?

Here are links to some of the reports:

I don't know about a "sixth sense"...but I've always watched the birds,
horses, cows, and the outside animals during tornado season. My father once
told me that you can always tell when a tornado is coming...long before the
"train sound" that a tornado makes is even heard. (I grew up in the
country, so it was much easier to do this there....) Listen to the outside
sounds....if you usually have animal activity such as birds singing, dogs
barking, etc., you'll notice a "dead quiet"....if the conditions are right
(usually a tornado "watch" is effect) and it becomes very still...not a
sound made by any animal outside...a tornado will be sighted or heard by
humans within 10-20 minutes later.

Now, I watch my cats and dogs....if they scurry under the beds during
tornado season--and it's not thundering or lightning outside to scare them
there---I know that something's coming. (What's really scary is....they're
usually right!)
