I moved from Publisher (which is very simple) to Frontpage over the summer and I thought it was very easy (and much nicer) to use. I have not tried DreamWeaver but I'd also be interested in hearing a comparison of the good and bad for each of these programs. My thoughts on FrontPage are that it allows much more flexibility and I enjoyed being able to move around within the program (writing codes) and inserting JavaScript (which I was also learning). ---there's still a lot to learn, though! Would love to see what others think! Kent Sent: Tue 1/11/2005 7:36 PM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: [LM_NET] Target/Dreamweaver vs MS FrontPage Buckeye Hello, Everyone, I am considering taking either Dreamweaver or FrontPage at a local career center. I have no experience with either program. The cost of lessons is about the same. Both courses meet for 12 clock hours. Does anyone have any advice about which program is better? My eventual goal is to maintain and improve an existing website which is currently being maintained by someone else. I am not particularly computer literate. I'd appreciate hearing from those of you who are familiar with these programs. Many thanks, Ada G.
