Let's remember that even though it's easy to cut and paste from the free web, plagiarism from books and magazines and paid web resources is still likely. Our teachers try to forestall this by having "note card checks" at the end of each week. And they compare the final paper with the notecards to match sources. Occasionally I get to do a more in depth hunt for them if things look suspicious. The kids are crafty. Some will plagiarize from one source and cite another source they might not have used at all, but saw in someone else's bibliography. Maureen S.
