We've had experiences with Encarta where a student needs one piece of information in an article and rather than copy it out and paste it into a Word document, will print out the entire article. If it's on a big topic (e.g Native Americans, France) you can end up with a 45 page printout. The online encyclopedia gives no indication of the length of the article and our printers don't list the amount of pages to be printed. Yet the same student will find the information in a print volume, bookmark it and then ask to have the single page printed on the copier. ********************************************* Josephine G.
