Our grade 5 teachers are looking for a passage in a book that they could use to inspire their students when completing a "grade-wide-write." The writing is being used as an evaluation tool. Basically, they are looking for a passage that would engage the students and give them something that would inspire excellent writing--something that they could all relate to. For example, something about friendship or determination. I need a pretty specific passage in case I'm unfamiliar with the book. Thanks!
