I know this isn't exactly what you're asking for but Bruce Coville has
written a series of books entitled "William Shakespeare's ..." for
Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream and others. The
story is condensed, re-written in modern English, and there are
pictures to illuminate the text. I have several of them in my
elementary library and the children love them. HTH susan
