Hello, Netters-- We are looking for a drop box for our library. I work for a small private therapeutic boarding school, and our library hours are limited, as the students are in a highly scheduled environment. However, some of their free time is in the evenings, and we would like to get a drop box to put outside the library so they can return books during the evening hours. What we kind of have in mind is some sort of large wooden box with a slot in the top--the top would be able to open, but would have a place for a lock that we would open periodically to get the books out and reshelve them. However, we haven't the foggiest where we would get said box. Do you know of any vendors where we could purchase something like this? Or, better yet, do you have anything similar? If you could let me know any information, I would appreciate it. I will post a HIT if there is interest. Please reply to me directly, as I have the digest option for the listserv. Thanks in advance--you all are great!
