Hi All, I was just approached by an 8th grade ELA teacher who will be visiting the library for 6 periods on Wednesday this week. She would like me to do a "brief lesson" on defining different genres (ie: fantasy, sci fi, realistic fiction, etc.). I was wondering if someone could perhaps suggest a website where I could get "genre definitions" or components of various genres to work with, since I won't have time to do any real brainstorming with the students.
