Oh wise ones, A friend e-mailed me to ask my help getting maple syrup off the pages of some books (evidently a travel mishap). It also sounds as though some of it has dried on the pages as well. I've only had to scrub the outside covers clean of maple syrup before this, and I'm unsure of what advise to give him. I searched the archives and found only humorous stories about pancakes and little amazed patrons, not how to clean it off. I'll post a hit if I get enough replies. Thanks in advance.
