Oh, if the list gets unmanageable there is an uninstall hack at

the unwanted search choices. Or you can do it manually at the way shown
at <http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=177335>.
Also, Gary Price points out that Needlesearch
<http://needlesearch.mozdev.org/> offers some special tricks. Multiple
search windows for using advanced search capabilities, it will make its
own custom plugins, easy to reorder the engine list, and it provides a
hiliter for search terms. I like that you can easily choose a new tab or
a new window for results to show in. Think Google or Yahoo search bar on
steroids.
