I am trying to educate myself about blogging, RSS feeds, wikis & other
social technologies. I keep coming across references to "tagging". I
think it has something to do with assigning keywords to blogs etc. so
they can be searched more efficiently. However - I have seen web
pages/blogs with tags listed at the bottom of the page that for the most
part seem to have nothing to do with the actual content of the page. As
a matter of fact - many of them have seem non-sensical to me. Is there
anyone out there who could give me some help? I could use a basic
definition of the term, and some pointers to really basic pages that can
help me learn about this.
Thanks - I will appreciate any help you can give me! Type slowly so I
can understand you ;-) I am confused enough!
