Hi Everyone, I'm a grad student at ECU working towards my MLS. I need your help for an assignment. I need feedback for the following? Is flexible access/scheduling effective in elementary school media centers? I am currently the media specialist at a preK-5 school working with a provisional license while I complete my MLS. The media center still operates on a fixed schedule. Although DPI encourages flexible access, the administrators and teachers are resistant to flexible scheduling. What are the pros/cons of flexible access in the elementary school media centers? Thank you so much for your help! Dana Hairr Grad Student, ECU Greenville, NC Media Specialist/C.E.Perry Elem.
