I think your HIT was correct with the Civil War soldiers who were in the Twilight Zone. M*A*S*H used the same format for one of their episodes (I have seen both shows). Here's a link that describes the episodes in The Twilight Zone dealing with the Civil War: http://www.ipdb.org/rulesheets/2684/tz-tie-ins.htm Scroll down until you see the title CANNON and it will list the episodes of the Twilight Zone that detail the Civil War. You can also do additional searches using "civil war" and "Twilight Zone" to locate the three or four episodes that detail the civil war elements. However, the one that you're interested in, I believe, is when the wife of one of the soldiers sees the men marching and she thinks that they are coming home. Her husband tells her he's dead but she doesn't believe it until at the end, she sees Abraham Lincoln, the last casualty of war, and realizes that she has seen the ghosts of the soldiers marching past her.
