Hi, everyone: I teach at an elementary school in a mostly blue-collar area. We have approximately 450 students. At this time I have a total of two students who have not paid for their completely destroyed books, and eight students who have not returned books (two are from the same family), for a total of 9 missing books. This seems pretty good to me, but this is only my fourth year as a librarian so I don't have much to compare it to. I'd like to know how elementary libraries at similarly sized schools are faring.
