[LM_NET] Elementary Reference Opinions

Hello Group,
   I am in a K-4 school and need to purchase a new set of encyclopedias
next school year.  I have World Book, but in some ways I feel it is way
over the heads of the little guys and only a few classes use it.  I am
considering purchasing Compton's Encyclopedia and the Oxford American
Children's Encyclopedia.  Does anyone have these?  I would also like to
know how you feel they compare to any other encyclopedia.
