We are having a very hard time finding decent periodical covers to replace our nice old, sturdy ones.. The ones we ordered this year to open our new library were from Brodart - catalog number 51-400-04 and were extremely flimsyThey are extremely light-weight and the middle strip is plastic. Most of them are already falling apart. We decided to order more and tried again with Gaylord - catalog number GH217. Those came in this morning and are also extremely flimsy. We will be returning those. Do any of you have a suggestion for a nice, sturdy periodical cover with a center metal bar and with pockets to hold the front and back covers (but not with a lock)? The old sturdy ones in my previous library werer probably at least 15 years old and we can't seem to find anything comparable. I appreciate any answers and will share a hit if requested.
