I wanted to share a rant regarding my Scholastic BookFair dealings.
We have two bookfairs each year. This past October I sent in all the
forms and check to reconcile the bookfair. Scholastic cashed the check,
but didn't enter it into their system. They also lost all the financial
paperwork.
Since December I have been getting statements saying we need to pay for
the last bookfair. I and the school's bookkeeper have sent proof of the
cashed check on multiple occasions and the financial paperwork. I just
received another letter from Scholastic saying we need to pay for the
Oct bookfair.
Grrrrrrrr! I can understand it not being entered into the system the
first time. Mistakes happen. The fact that we are continuing to fight
this battle has sent me looking for another bookfair company.
