Interesting that so many of us name our pets after characters (but then
I didn't have children...) ...we have Tabitha (Beatrix Potter...
Tabitha Twitchet) who is now quite elderly and frail. Years ago I had a
library cat named Willoughy after Mr. Willoughby's Christmas Tree...he
was found in the parking lot and brought to the library just before
Christmas. He liked to sleep under the Christmas Tree! I guess our
other cats weren't/ aren't literate... and neither were the dogs...
