Hi everyone,

I am a first year Middle School Librarian and my question is very basic. I feel
overwhelmed sometimes with all this great fiction out there.

Any suggestions for YA fiction that would be good to book talk to these kids...
Maybe some new books?? I've read Tangerine and Whirligig lately, both relatively
new and loved them both. I'm looking for suggestions that you've enjoyed a lot and
the kids seem to take to also; books not necessarily included in your standard
curriculum reading lists. More like great "discoveries".

Thanks!
