Dear LM_Net,,
Last week we had children's author Denise Brennan-Nelson visit our school. She was
fabulous. Many of our teachers have said that we need to have her back again. She
was a delight and our students and staff enjoyed every moment of her presentation.
She is the perfect author to do a school visit. She understands and relates
children in such a way, that their imaginations are sparked in new ways to exhibit
their creativity.
Denise has a knack for picking kids out of the audience who really need that extra
boost in life. She made a lifetime impression on several of our students.
Several of her books also have curriculum packets on Sleeping Bear Press's website,
so that classroom teachers can extend her titles into the classroom.
