I'm surprised that no one has mentioned (yet) that today is Ascension Day.
Here at Skyline we tend to not pay much attention to other country's
festivals, or church festivals for that matter. Our Spanish classes DO
study a bit about Mexican holidays, but that's about it, since we don't
have any other foreign languages offered. Although most of our students
and faculty are Christian, most of them are from non liturgical
backgrounds, so when I mention the Church Year they wonder what I'm
talking about.
