Thanks so much to everyone for their quick, insightful responses. Turns out
several other librarians are having the same problems with Follett I have been
experiencing.

Although Follett was the most used, over half of the respondents who indicated they
were Follett Users were experiencing lengthy delays in shipping. At least 1/3 were
considering switching jobbers.

Mackin received the most glowing, positive responses. Free shipping and possibly
free processing, a good discount, and wonderful PEROSONAL service. Quick
turn-around time, too.

Permabound and Bound to Stay Bound also received glowing repsonses.

My favorite suggestion, however, was the crafty librarian who uses Follett's
Titlewave, and then submits the order to PermaBound or BoundtoStayBound! What a
great idea!

Thanks again to all who responded. I really appreciate your help.

Here's the breakdown of the responses:

Follett - 13
Mackin-12
Baker and Taylor - 9
Permabound - 7
Bound to Stay Bound - 7
Ingram - 4
Brodart - 3
Sagebrush - 2
